Mercury Retrograde Report

This Mercury Retrograde has been typical for me: things taking longer than normal, minor miscommunications, amazing displays of clumsiness (I can't be the only one who manages to need a bandaid after putting away the milk). But it's making me think that Mercury Retrograde needs to be celebrated in a spirit similar to Festivus. It can be called RetroMercuMas. Instead of the 'Feats of Strength', there will be 'Feats of Clumsiness'. And instead of the 'Airing of Grievances', there will be the 'Fixing of the Computer'. When things run smoothly during a Mercury Retrograde, it will be known as a RetroMercuMas miracle.

Astrology Carnival: Tenth Edition

Welcome to the tenth edition of the astrology carnival!

The theme for this edition is Mercury Retrograde and Michele Lessirard submitted a great article that you'll want to bookmark for the year ahead called, When does Mercury retrograde in 2007? posted at New Moon Journal.

For the next edition of the carnival, the optional theme is "what did you experience or learn during this Mercury Retrograde (Feb 13th-March 7th)?" Feel free to send in any astrology-related articles, though. Also, if you have any suggestions for a theme you'd like to see, let me know.

The eleventh edition of this carnival will come out around March 10th. You can submit your blog article to the next edition of the astrology carnival using the carnival submission form. You can also email me (theknowitallastrologer @ gmail.com) your link (make sure you mention that you want it included in the carnival) or post it in the comments below.
Past posts and future hosts can be found on the blog carnival index page.

Jupiter in Sagittarius: My Journey

February 3rd, 2007 chart
Originally uploaded by knowitall.
In my chart right now, Jupiter in Sagittarius is conjunct my natal Neptune and squaring transitting Uranus. It feels especially fitting that I'm exploring the law of attraction more deeply and expansively than I have in the past. I have noticed that I have a set point when it comes to how much money I earn - and feel I can earn - so I am working on changing that. I'm learning more about resistance: how and where it shows up, and how to let it go. And I've been having all these lightbulb/duh moments lately. The latest one occurred when I realized that making goals based on what I want to overcome or avoid in my life only creates resistance and more of what I don't want.

Law of attraction resources I've been exploring recently ~
The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, Choosing Prosperity, and of course, The Secret.
